Irma Ella Proehl (nee Weber) was born in 1924 to the late Ludwig Weber and Ella (nee Kunst) Weber in Chicago. She lived in North Port, FL in retirement and for the last 13 years in Mokena and Palos Park,IL. Irma was Married for 54 years to her beloved, Otmar (OB) Proehl.

Irma is survived by her sister Arlene Staschke, three children, Gwendolyn Ausburn (Glen), Harlan Proehl (Rosemary) and Judy Mayer (the late Andrew).  She was grandmother to Gregory Proehl (Sherri), Brian Proehl, Jeremy Mayer, Jeffrey Mayer, Joel Mayer and Wade Ausburn, Great-grandmother to Abigail Proehl, Emma Proehl, Isaac Proehl, Hailey Mayer, Jackson Mayer, Leopold Mayer, Kyla Mayer and Lillian Mayer.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Otmar, baby brother Ludwig, and sister Leona Raines and other beloved cousins, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Irma attended St. Andrews Lutheran School and Church, Chicago and was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park, IL.
