A gentle and kind woman who was a fixture around our house while our mother was alive. From videos to books to mouse traps she was always on the lookout for things our family might need as made her shopping excursions at the second hand stores around town. She was a great friend to our mother. We can recall her gently caressing my mother's hand while my mother was in the hospital and we buried my mother with the little Chicago Cubs bear that she gave her while she visited her there. We will certainly miss her presence in the neighborhood: briskly walking on another adventure down Kildare Ave with suitcase in tow.
